Latacunga Cemetery (Part 2)

The most charming thing about the Latacunga cemetery were the graves in the walls. After the coffin is put in, it is sealed over and a little display is made and sealed with a glass door. It is like a diorama. There is also a place to put fresh flowers around the display. Each display is different and some are quite beautiful. There were many beautiful flowers including lots of roses and even orchids. Not one plastic flower! And not too many wilted flowers either. Families must visit the graves often to replace the flowers. Here are some of my favorites...
