Coffee in the Coffee Triangle

Salento is in the Coffee Triangle, the coffee growing region of Columbia, so we expected to get some good coffee here.

This place, Cafe Jesus Martin, is just a couple blocks from our hostal.

We had some good coffee here to start our day today.

This was their macchiato, which made a nice picture.

We also got what they called a "traditionale" which turned out to be espresso with just a little water served in a small cup.

I like the way they rubber stamp their paper napkins.

The four fellows on the left of this picture came in. They could be coffee farmers. We were interested to see what they got. They got something served in little ceramic cups that looked like little pitchers. We figure it must have been the espresso. We'll need to go back and get that.
