We did. We might not have found Geoff Bailey and his restaurant called Brunch if we had not run into Patrick two days ago who told us about Bailey and Brunch. "There is a guy from Bend, Oregon, who has a restaurant here!"
Of course we had to try it right away. Bailey is married to a Columbian and just recently relocated to Salento and opened Brunch. He is trying to cater mostly to the foriegn tourists who come here by serving American food. Geoff was an interesting guy and obviously enjoyed getting to talk to us. Daniel and I both had our first hamburgers of the trip, and they were pretty good. The fries were good too.
Today we went back for breakfast and had Geoff's homemade granola with yogurt and fruit. Very good, and a righteous breakfast compared to our usual.
We wish Geoff the best. He definitely fills a niche in Salento that is not filled by anyone else.
