Maybe a used Panama hat store.
Wrong.
While he did have a few hats for sale in the glass case on the left, this fellow's business turned out to be cleaning and renovating Panama hats.
Most of the hats you see here are ready to be picked up.
Most are the flat-topped version that women from the rural villages seem to favor.
We didn't even see any of this style at Paredes and Sons, which caters a different class of Panama hat wearers.
