It seems like every town we have been in that has a hill has a mirador, or viewpoint.
Salento is no exception.
As is typical, you reach the top of the mirador in Salento by ascending a long staircase.
Older folk like me have to take their time.
I think there might be stations of the cross on the way up the Salento mirador.
There are also some inpirational signs like this one. It says "Salento is a town that is suspended in time -- live it!" I would agree.
The view from the top is very nice.
You can pretty much take in all of Salento from here.
