Desayuno Typico
This morning Daniel and I decided to have a good breakfast to fortify us for our day trip to Tunja.
I saw this on the menu. It's called "changua." We had to ask the server what it was.
After she described it, I was game. It was good. It's a soup with a hot milk broth, two eggs poached in the milk, some slices of crusty bread, and some other things to give it flavor.
The green herb really made the dish, but I have no idea what it was. I found some recipes for changua that use cilantro, but this was not cilantro or parsley. It was something else.
