How to Take Pictures of Indigenous People

We met an interesting couple here in Popayan who have been traveling all over S. America since December.

He was an escaped Texan like me, from Fort Worth, and his partner was Korean.

He had managed to make a living teaching English overseas for awhile. His wife was a teacher too. They were between jobs and looking for a place to land in S. America. We ran into them in Silvia.

They showed us their technique for taking pictures of indigenous people who don't want to be photographed. She simply poses for the camera at a place were he can zoom in unnoticed.

Good technique.
