Chivas in Silvia

The way the Guambiano people get to the Tuesday market in Silvia from their remote mountain communities is by "chivo." A chivo (Spanish for goat) is a converted school bus. Seats are replaced by long benches, in most cases, to be able to fit in the maximum number of people. They also acquire fantastic paint jobs.
