Branch Library in El Ejido

This was an interesting branch library in the Parque El Ejido.

I like the building design, which really invites you in.

It's small. Only about 5,000 square feet I would say.

It was open on the Sunday afternoon we were there, but it was just closing at 3 pm when we got there so we didn't get to go in.

We could see from the outside that there were lots of public access internet computers in little carrels. That seems to be an important service here too.

This long shot of the building hides the fact that the building needs some maintenance on the outside. They need to address some peeling paint, and the boards coming loose on the deck in front.
