Museo del Oro (Part 2)

Here is some more gold work that I found especially interesting and beautiful on our visit to the Museo del Oro in Bogota.

These were death masks, buried with high chiefs, no doubt.

This was a shell that had many layers of gold molded to it.

The shell has long since disintegrated, leaving the gold.

Some of the pieces like this one showed real artistry.
